Don Batten had the same problem when his hemophilia caused/required the 
fusing of his knees.  It was a big disappointment to him at first, but he bought a 
'66 AC Monza 4dr sedan from me that he and I converted to an F41 suspension 
with quick arms and he had a great time at autocrosses etc.  I still remember 
the announcer at one autocross......"Don Batten is up next.  He's driving a '66 
Corvair Monza..  (pause).....4  door......(pause) 
air..(pause)...conditioned.............(pause)........................Automatic.................."  Don's 
not with us anymore, but he was a great guy and always competitive.
