It's funny that you mention making a 2 door out of a four door, because
that's just what I'm in the process of doing.

The window problem is actually very easy to solve.  The rear door windows
already fits the roof line, so all you have to do is trim about 6-8 inches
off of the front of the window (straight vertical cut) and you have a rear
quarter window to fit the new 4 door coupe conversion.

BTW, one of the things I think would be neat to do is to take a 4door,
remove all four doors, knock out the "B" pillar, mount a pair of coupe
doors to it, then fill in the gap with the remains of a coupe quarter
panel. Viola! A formal-roofline "coupe." You love 2doors, well how'd
THAT be for you? The only thing that prevents me from doing it is trying
to figure out what I'd do for quarter windows. LOL
