<VV> Re:cylinder baffles

i have taken engines apart that have had the cyl baffles left off one side 
,and seen the gold colored heat damage on the lower side of the pistons and 
cylinders.The rings got coked up on that side and damaged also. i would take the 
effort to put them on after seeing that , if the car is going to driven much 
undrer todays highway speeds.  i feel they are that important to engine  
survival.
