As a teacher of high school math students, I usually revert to the military
way of instruction: 1. Tell them what you are going to tell them. 2. Tell
them. 3. Tell them what you told them....and then test to see if you have
to do it again. Since information is retained at somewhere between 7-15% at
the first go around, it is something to consider. And, as all teachers
know, the best way to learn, understand, and retain information is to teach
it to someone else....
