They said on the radio that Ralph's mother died. She would have turned 100 in Feb. I guess we won't hear Willard Scott utter her name. And I was so looking forward to seeing her puss on a computer-generated Smucker's jar. BTW, her name was Rose as in Pierini. That may account for Ralph's sympathy for a certain one-armed Californian. ~Bill Stanley
