<VV> Lakewood Question

Hey Gang,

A fellow club member has a Lakewood and told me that the reason the 
windshield and many other parts are not interchangeable with other EMs is that the 
Lakewood was based on a Pontiac station wagon.  I thought that the Corvairs were 
unique to themselves.  What does the VV brain trust have to say about this?
