On my "racer" I only had a tach [ to fill a hole in the dash!]  and one BIG 
red light for 7psi of oil pressure  "on the way down!", which killed the 
ignition!

BUT  then I started thinking.....what if that one run at Flagstaff I could 
beat Smitty...and the switch transferred??

SO I DISCONNECTED IT!
