Good thought Doug. That little nylon nut does get loose when fiddling 
with the sender.

Also, if the "nut" on the sender is installed with a hammer and chisel, 
the ends of the "nut" that are hammered on will bend and make full 
engagement impossible. But he is  using a real tool, so that shouldn't 
be it.
