<VV> Corsa update - compression and temperature

1 Valves......too tight and usually compression goes to ZERO.....and no will 
not cause it to run hot...HP  is heat...no HP  from a cylinder...less heat...

2  Timing.....Safeguard shows a little action?.....so it must not be retarded 
timing?

Pressure retard ONLY functions if you are getting boost!   Dist. Mechanical 
advance should not show advance until 4000 rpm full in { +18} at 4900.  Press. 
retard only comes in above 2.2 pounds..boost which is 4.5" Hg [ @ 60deg. F]

Have you checked under the top shroud for rags?  Have you removed the lower 
shrouds?
