I tossed mine in the shed - closing the barn  door after the horses are out 
but at least it shouldn't get  worse.

I knew a guy that helped his handling by dropping a 50 lb paper sack of  rock 
salt into his Corvair's trunk. One day, a few years later, he  slammed the 
trunk lid and heard a noise from below. It was the remainder of  the trunk floor 
hitting the ground after 100% of the surrounding edges were  dissolved!
