<VV> Wretched Electrical Connector

In all there years, I've always though the general put that connector there for my benefit.  I remove the wire which comes from the battery and connect it to the input side of a 50A RV circuit breaker and then I hook the wire which goes forward to the output of the circuit breaker.  I mount the circuit breaker to the frame rail.  If the general hadn't connected the wires at the horrid plastic thingy, I would have had to cut the wires.
