i would use the adaptabolt with a shielded line to a block on the body to 
convert to a line to the front. i use adaptabolt with a gauge  for the first few 
hours on a new engine (as a test instrument only). i do not leave it on long 
anymore after i smacked a gauge with a belt once.  makes for a lot of glass in 
the engine room.  the light and a temp indicator are enough for my situation.
