Rick,  it sounds like your PG  is shifting UP too soon....Adjust the TV / 
Throttle rod to makie it stay in LOW  longer... [ shorten ].

Timing is everything!  When you advance..you get more power, more 
quickly...BUT.....at some point you will start premature ignition for the conditions...

Turbos are set a 24 BTDC!!
