Note that the stock LM battery is a group 22F. The group 24 battery was the
heavy-duty option, RPO T60.

Frank, the Group 51 is actually closer in size to a Group 24 (Late Model)
than to a group 53 (Early Model)  The Group 51 is actually a bit shorter,
narrower, and not quite as tall as the 24.

Well it is nice to know that Costco is selling vented batteries for the
all important early models! :-)

I don't think the group 51 will fit the factory hold downs on a late.
But you could fabricate some long bolts to hold it in place.

Might improve those late model lines....
