<VV> Turbo Engine Removal

Smitty says:  One rule doesn't fit every case, but in most cases I will not remove a Turbo engine without first removing the exhaust crossover.  Knowing this prevents running the engine on the ground for test purposes.  It is one of those darned if you do and darned if you don't deals because once you sit it on a dolly you are not going to get the diff off if farther maintenance requires it, until you do remove the pipe.  Then you have to put the engine pretty much up in the air again to get the pipe off.  Just a thought.
