Padgett,
I brought up E.L. Cord because his engine was BEHIND the transmission and  
differential, air-cooled flat sixes had nothing to do with that, it's that the  
front of the engine is towards the front of the car.... Remember, his L-29 and 
 810 & 812s were all front wheel drive.... but you already knew that.
