<VV> threw a belt- what now?

I am a fan of the spring setup for the fanbelt. One was on my   Sprint when I 
got it 21 years ago and I and Curt Jones autocrossed it several  time and 
NEVER lost a belt and still on it when I sold it last month.
 I have one on my autocross car  " The GEEZER " and also have  never lost a 
belt.

was not gentle with a race car.
