looking at a 66 fisher body service manual and they say the first "a" is the 
lower body color. the second "a" indicates upper body color or folding top 
or roof color. therefore if only the "a" is there it is the same color as 
the bottom. it does not give any more info than this. hope it helps-mike

See, I told you that somewhere we'd find a guru with a decoder ring! I was 
right on that and kinda right on the code.
