You'd think I was running for president by some of the replies I got....
sheesh.

I have one lifter/rocker arm moving less than half of the amount of the
others, and another lifter moving a bit less. I was advised it would be fine
from the 'experts' that installing new lifters with an old cam would be
fine. Apparently not in this case. The lifter apparently has won, sort of,
and the lobes, lost. I'll get some pics when I get it torn down further.

If It was suggested to me that I don't replace a 40 year old cam, that
apparently didn't like new lifters, I wouldn't call that an assembly issue.
;)

Only fault I see on my part so far, is not replacing it when my gut told me
to do so. A mistake I admit to.

Not trying to start a flame war here. All I was originally commenting on is
that people are not perfect. Mistakes happen. I was using my personal
experiance as an example.

It's all good. It's a gorgeous day, enjoy your cars, family and thank the
