I checked out the new castle site and the alleged "tar top" repro has no tar top whatsoever. Its just another Group 53 battery. I don't think that I would pay$180 for that. Chevrolet dealers charge different prices for the 557A. They are a special order item and I have been waiting for mine for two months. Crawford
