The primary differences, as far as the actual wires, between '65 and '66 
(and up) are the change from striped wire to solid color wire.
Examples:
                               65                                        66
Radio:                       Black/yellow stripe                  Yellow
Ign Supplied power:   Black/pink stripe                      Pink
Fused power             Black/orange stripe                  Orange
There are a few others but these make the point. The wires became 
standardized across the car lines and most of the colors/functions carry 
over to todays GM cars.
