Hey Rudy, Make sure the car is at a fast idle initially and then 
crank it up, go fix a cup of coffee and
get the newspaper or a magazine, sit down and enjoy a break while the 
car runs for 15 or 20 minutes.
If the lifter hasn't quieted down, take the car for a spirited drive 
and see if that doesn't cure the problem.
