As Dennis sez...LEFT handed drills are a good start!

1  center punch flat end of bolt..

2  drill with smallest drill, then move up a size or 2

3   1/4  bolt.......end up at 1/4.....it'll leave the threads...

I use ALDEN   "DrillOUT"   Power extractors  ........left handed bit with 
EasyNet combined.
