My question is... Why did they not just mask them off?  If it is a 
"professional" restoration outfit, they have no business losing parts and 
should be liable to make good on the project.  I doubt you can get them back 
on  - properly - even if you can find them.  They would have to be expanded 
for removal and if that did not break them (probably why they can't "find" 
them), it would be virtually impossible to re-install them correctly.  So, 
not such a "great" job after-all.

The above (if you cannot tell) is opinion.
