As anyone who has seen me drive in an autocross can testify, my style is 
more "early squirrel" (learned on dirt tracks which might have something to 
do with it). I need a clutch for AWS. Can be very smooth if necessary but 
have always found that Corvairs like to be tossed around. It works for me 
(modesty forbids...)
