Mike,   If you have an actual factory van bracket the machine screws will be 
flahead (phillips or slot your peferance) about a no. 10 -12.  Take the 
bracket with and make just snug enough to be flush or slightly below 
surface.  I would use Stainless and just long enough to comfortably get 
washers, lockwashers and nuts on .  Screwed on fro the front.  If you get 
too long for comfort you can always cut off.  Hard to find the van bracket 
when you need one.  I have used the car ones succesfuly using the three car 
mounting studs.   I currently drive a 64 Greenbriar 4spd deluxe  --  Lee
