I am using the stock pump on my overhauled engine-now about 3500 miles since rebuilding-95 HP heads with about 200 miles. No more 140HP heads for me. Just be sure to set up properly (using the plastigage + the appropriate shop manual).
I am not sure when is the right time for the hi volume pump on my STOCK Corvairs.Anyone?
Timothy Shortle in Durango Colorado.
