re <VV> Engine cylinder head temperature guage?

Padgett,

Please report the difference when you do this.
I tried mine both places and didn't see anywhere near that much difference.
Right now I have a ring under the plug on #6 and a ring bolted to the bottom
of the right side head - with a switch to select them to a single gauge. I
see about 30 degrees difference between the two. I'm not sure what that
means, since these TC sensors measure the temperature difference between the
sensor and the connector where the wires change to copper and the two
connectors are not both in the same area - so the comparison is not
accurate.

I have heard that the thermistor being buried up in the hole in the head
makes it read higher than if it was bolted to the surface. Believe it or
not, I don't have an opinion on this. ;-)

Roger
