Smitty, Andy was refering to sealing the threads while the bleedeer is 
open for using the vacuum pump. I have had some bleeders leak a great 
deal with the vacuum pump. Teflon tape does a good job without harming 
rubber parts.

I do agree with you that grease should not be used if it can get mixed 
with the brake fluid. Grease will rot the rubber parts.  I use antiseize 
on the threads myself, but keep it away from the sealing area. Not a 
recomendation, just what works for me.
