<VV> pushrod needed

[Western Canada CORSA]

I have personally seen the results of somebody trying to flash up a corvair
engine on old/stale/bad gas.  It dieseled so bad it broke the pushrod and
the tube in half.

Vapor lock break a pushrod?  I can't imagine that no matter how hard I try.
