Hmmm...   I put a Corsa dash in my Monza and a Spyder dash in my Rampside. 
When I see a spike in the 500 range (happens on the Rampy in a head wind), I 
knock 10mph off my speed.  That makes ME feel comfortable.

And I did, with both the Corvair AND the Beetle and I've been MUCH happier 
ever since.
