<VV> Alternatives to shipping Communique

That "solution" has been brought up before, to a storm of hot tempers.

While I'm not in a position to speak for Harry & Mike, I DO know that bulk
mailing requires a certain number of items, so there would be a point where
emailing copies could be a detriment to those who prefer a mailed copy.

I am one of those who prefer a nicely printed, high-quality magazine in my
hand. It's certainly far better than anything that I could ever hope to
print out off the computer. And I DO archive them. Have a collection of
CORSA publications dating back to "Preliminary issue #1" (my only reprinted
copy) and the infamous carbon-copied "Preliminary issue #2. So why would I
want to compromise my library with a cheap, shabby computer-generated copy?

It's certain that H&M has, and continues to, look into possible methods of
better delivery and lower costs. That's their duty and business to do so. I
think that, short of boosting the dues tremendously to cover first class
postage (which would guarantee a huge loss of membership), things are as
good as they can get. So just don't sweat it.

format if at all possible. If it saves the national organization any money
time and grief, I'm a willing recipient.

less time, less money etc.. etc...
