<VV> Which AN fitting to replace stock 140 carb flare nut and lines

I am looking to upgrade my "hard" fuel lines and flare fittings to AN
fittings and braided flex lines coming off a 4 port junction mounted on the
firewall. This is a stock 140 engine setup in a 1963.

Looking back thru the VV & FV archives I found two posts referencing that
the 140 carbs were too close together to combine a 7/8-20 to -6 AN attached
to a 90 deg -6 AN to -6 AN hose.

Seth Emerson referenced a 90 deg fitting that was 7/8-20 to -6 AN hose
(849093ERL) for a Holly carb. I found these in general Red/Blue anodized,
but I do not want the red/blue colored fittings. I am trying to setup the
engine bay in either plain silver or black anodizing.

I found a black anodized Holly carb inlet fitting that is designed as a
"short" 7/8-20 to -6 AN and then I wanted to go to a 180deg -6 AN to -6 AN
hose for the two driver side carb's and then 45deg -6 AN to -6 AN hose.
Both sides would bring the fittings down and slightly angled out to run the
hoses back towards the firewall along the frame rail.

The short inlet fittings, 180 deg & 45 deg fitting look like these but I
don't want to spend the money if this won't work.

I would think that the shorter inlet nut coupled to the other fittings
"should" work but I would like to know if anyone has tried this already and
failed?

I suppose if anyone knows of other sources for the 90 deg 7/8-20 to -6 AN
hose (849093ERL) in either plain silver or black anodizing that would solve
my problem also.

I couldn't find it in anything other than red/blue.

What can be done to remove the red/blue anodizing from this type of fitting?

What are my other options, or what have you done to make this stock flare to
AN fitting conversion work on your vair?
