Up here in the western part of Canuck land, we get wonderful winters. Sep
is 60 F, Oct 50 F, snow starts in late Oct/Nov (downhill skiing usually by
Nov 15th), then Dec 5 F, Jan -15 to -20 F, and Feb is equalization time as
on coldest days you can get -40 F and -40 C at the same time. Mar warms up
to 30 F, and Apr can be balmy at 60 F. So good heaters/defrosters and block
heaters are mandatory for mid winter, along with windshield scrapers and
good warm clothing. and some of us like Winter (myself included) as what
would life be like without four real seasons.
