i lived in decatur alabama from 1961 to 1985 and bought a 64 turbo spyder coupe from a gentleman harold long. he was the owner of longs battery service,. he had several corvairs, mostly earlies ,but al so some late models.  out of a 1990 decatur phone book his number is 256-353-4297  1718 creighton ave s.e. decatur alabama was the business address.  bought that spyder around 1982  used to be a club there also   n.a.c.c.----  north alabama corvair club.  but think i disbanded   hope this helps. trey in cuba n.y.      1960 v8 toro conversion....suncoast corvairs.336    CORSA.... v8vairs 006...toronado owners assn.
