The only thing you need at the threaded end is the rod from the transmission so you can watch it move. Hold you finger on the end of the rod to keep it seated in the modulator as you pump up the vacuum it should start to move at about 12 HG and should be pulled in all the way at 15 HG. Let us know what you find.
