I have to agree - plastic models are getting harder to find - no longer at Walmart, Target, "big box" stores.  Hobby Lobby still carries a pretty good selection by Revell (which never made a Corvair model), otherwise, you have to hit up a local hobby shop - specializing in these types of things...
 
BTW - AMT/Ertyl (Racing Champions) just re-relased the Parts Pack that includes a chrome plated Corvair engine - probably not chrome this time though.
