Glad to see you are doing this in small increments that you can test.

My wife's '01 Sable's gas mileage responded really nicely to 39- front and 
34- rear.
She's up to 28 mpg, highway now, before, around 24mpg.

I've also used 38-front, 24-rear in my '78 Ranchero for years, since it 
balances
out the nose-heavy feeling somewhat. Same pressures in my S-10, the daily 
driver.
