OK lets refresh with the questions:

1. Although 15 paint colors were available in 1966, over 57% of the cars on the roster were one of three colors. Care to guess what the three most popular colors on the roster are?

2. All the colors are represented in the roster, but three colors were so unpopular that there are one example of each. Care to guess what the three most unpopular colors are?

3. Headrests were first available as an option in 1966. It proved to be very rare with only 1.15% of 1966 Corvairs having them. The roster shows that the Turbo verts appear to be far more likely to have headrests than a typical 66 Corvair. LA Turbo verts seem to have a significantly higher percentage of headrest seats than 1.15%. Care to guess how much higher?

OK here are the answers:

1. The two most popular colors were tied, both at 21.3%. They are Marina Blue and Aztec Bronze. The Color that came in third was Regal Red at 14.6%

2. There was a three way tie for most unpopular color on the roster. These colors all came in at 1.3% or just one example each of this color on the roster.
They are Willow Green, Cameo Beige and Madiera Maroon. I was kind of surprised about Madiera Maroon.

3. For some reason the Los Angeles built Turbo verts had a incredibly high percentage of Headrests in comparison to the overall percentage for all Corvairs that year. A whopping 30% or nearly 30 times the overall percentage of 1.15% listed for the whole 66 year. The Willow run cars came in at 10.5% or just about ten times.

Looks like the 66 Turbo verts were usually more loaded than the average Corvair.
