<VV> Using a Unisync

I want to use a Unisync to check the balance on my carbs.  I have one  
that was in my dad's collection of parts and tools.  There are no  
instructions.  I would appreciate anyone out there who has used one  
to give me a quick lesson.  I plan to use the method in the service  
manual, but I thought this would be a good back up before I start to  
monkey with the timing.
