Hello everyone, I think it is important for all CORSA members on
Virtual Vairs to remember and understand that nowadays many many new
Corvair owners will have their first Corvair "community" experience
on the www and for most of them I suspect it will be
at Virtual Vairs or at a major individual web site such as Gary
Aube's wonderful site or the Corvair Forum or Corvair Central or
Corvair US. Of all these sites, the one that is always most
controversial, most negative and most argumentative among it's
members is Virtual Vairs. Although the site can be the most helpful,
it can also be the most belittling and acrimonious. When you post on
Virtual Vairs you post your feelings to the world not just to each
other. I coached youth soccer for many years and one of my favorite
quotes to my young players was "Suprise your teammate, catch him
doing something right" .............please consider this
possibility when you post to Virtual Vairs as there may be "newbies"
to the Corvair family who are observing the list for the first time.
If the Virtual Vairs list is the window to the world for CORSA and
for Corvair owners we should strive to present an educated, helpful
and positive image for possible new CORSA members to observe and in
which to participate.

Corvairly,
Chuck Armer
