<VV> Tips on LM fuel tank install

Chris,  I've only done the LM tank twice.  Both times I gave up  trying to 
put it in with the filler neck installed (car on jackstands in the  driveway).  
I plugged the filler opening to the tank with a rag (taped it  securely), 
installed the tank, tightened the straps (use some kind of antisqueak  or you'll 
regret it) and then fished the filler neck down and connected the hose  
connection.  The more flexible hose worked for me.
 
If you have your car on an overhead lift then I would think you could put  
the tank in with the filler neck attached (as, I think, GM did).
