Despite the super quality of certain websites <ggg>, and the "entertaining"
VV, the mag is still the primary communication tool of CORSA, and will
remain in that position as long as nearly 90% of our membership isn't active
on-line. Roger

Craig adds:
Couldn't agree with you more (almost). I think the "face" of CORSA has
barely changed in 20 years and is beginning to be a bit dull. Just comparing
the pizzazz factor of CORSA's web presence (VV and the CORSA site) to other
stuff on the web tells the whole story. The Communiqué is currently the
center-piece; the web presence should be beefed up to a level that makes the
CC assume a more balanced role. The face of CORSA could/should be 4x what it
is now, and much more dynamic too. I was shocked to learn that an
alternative Corvair site had 12,000 unique visitors last year. That's 10x VV
and more than twice the entire CORSA membership! And that's not the extent
of the market 'cause they don't get everybody either. Perhaps the total
market is 20,000 strong! It could pay back in spades if CORSA hired someone
to create web and magazine content. Harry and Mike do a great job but I
believe there's room for a quantum increase in what comes out of CORSA, like
I said, it would pay back in spades.
Just an opinion; Any thoughts?
Craig
