Is the above statement true?

Based on the way that cartridge filters are designed and built.....no effing
way!

Secondly, some oil filters allow 7-9 gpm flow while the Pure Power claims 20
gpm, thereby implying less resistance to oil flow and therefore less HP
required to run oil pump.  

What do y'all think about this?

Riddle me this Batman......how do you increase the "flow" through a filter?
By increasing its porosity and thereby reducing its ability to
filter....defeating it's purpose for being there in the first place maybe?

BTW.....look up "oil filter by-pass valve" in your shop manual
