<VV> Transaxle Ratio Choice

I am rebuilding the transaxle for a 66 Corsa 140-4 Convert.   I have the choice of several gear sets and need your thoughts on the best ratio to install.   The vehicle will just be a general cruiser and Show and Shine type of runner, with mostly around town driving.  Should I just use the 3.27 for this general use or use the 3.55 set as best choice?
