<VV> Transaxle Ratio Choice

My 140 Corsa has a 3.55 and my wife's 110/4sp has a 3.27. I don't think 
I'd really like a 3.27 hooked to a 140 due to the relative lack of low 
end torque. While my wife's car is definitely the one we prefer for 
highway use, my Corsa is much more satisfying the drive around town.
