<VV> Drive your Corvair Day, missed the day but caught the week end!

>  One time back when my 67 Monza was still Royal Plum.

Two days back (Saturday) I was at the big Charleston WV Boulevard Rod Run 
and Doo Wop car show with my 67 Royal Plum Monza vert. It's the biggest car 
show of the year and Dennis Gage was there. I got him to sign my hat too. I 
was going to have him sign my head but I wash that occasionally....
I was one of four late model Vairs to show up, (no earlies) one of which I 
hadn't seen before.
We were car number 530 but, I don't know how many they ended up with. They 
were estimating over a thousand. Lots of good comments along with the usual 
wrong Nader veribage. The Royal Plum color stops them in their tracks, 
especially the women.
It was an excellant fall day here in the mountains and a good primer for 
next weeks track event at Summit Point.
