True but it's been a while since this poor dead horse has received a good
beating.  I think it's very worthwhile to serve on the board, you may or may
not move mountains but you can be involved and see what all is involved in a
nationwide club and what it takes to operate it. You may come away with a
new appreciation of it and other people. Dennis is one of the best that  I
had the privilege of serving with, I have a list of people that I respect
greatly after getting to know them and work with them, had I not served I
wouldn't know them. To each their own of course, it's  like coaching little
league baseball, all the best coaches are in the bleachers telling you what
you are doing wrong!  J
