NECC Summit Point Time Trials!  Monday, October 13, 2008


REGISTRATION IS STILL OPEN!   This event, to be held at Summit Point's
modern Shenandoah circuit, is sure to attract some of the hottest
Corvairs on the East Coast.  But you don't need a race-prepared car.  We
have classes for street stock Corvairs and non-Corvairs, too.  The date
is October 13 - Columbus Day weekend.  We invite you to register now

TRACK DESCRIPTION:  The Shenandoah Circuit is a no-holds-barred
dimensional replica of Der Nurburgring with 20 deg banking, camber
changes, decreasing radius corners, and more.  The Shenandoah Circuit is
the odds-on favorite to be the most technical track in the country.

HOST HOTEL:  NECC's host hotel is the brand new Holiday Inn in 
Winchester, VA, which is opening on October 9, 2008, just a few days 
before we arrive!  Here is the address:

You can call either number to make your reservation.  The rate is $89 
per night and is good for October 11, 12, & 13. You MUST mention NECC 
to get the special rate!  The NECC Group Code is "NEC".

You may remember that our host hotel for the 2003 Summit Point Time 
Trials was a Holiday Inn.  That hotel is being replaced by the new 
place just a 1/4 mile away.

Sue and Bonnie at the front desk have assured NECC that there is ample 
parking at the new hotel for race car trailers. The new hotel has 
banquet facilities and so there should be no problem with parking space 
for us. Sue is the sales manager, so this is "official" information.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

All cars will be subject to tech inspection before they are allowed on
the track.

You are also required to do your own tech inspection, before you arrive.

We will mail the tech inspection form to you when we receive your
registration payment.

Bring your completed tech inspection form with you to the event.

When you register, we will also provide a detailed itinerary (schedule)
for you.
