Upon pulling the tin from the subject engine we found the following:

2. left head 3795960 '62-'63 98 hp

Hi Mike,
Well they are similar but different. The 3856632 is a '64 110 hp head with a
combustion chamber of 50.6270cc (per Bob Kirkman's article in the Tech Guide)

The 3795960 head is a 1961 98 hp head (not '62-63) with a 45.9984 cc
combustion chamber.

You can calculate the CR from these figures but I'd say it's around 8.5 to
9.0 depending which head your are speaking of, using a 145 cid engine.
